Yesterday 20 July 2010, 2.30pm one of our neighbor in TP1/1 is very unfortunate to be the latest victim of burgulary.
Nothing much has been taken but the fear of leaving your house alone and finding food for the table.
These thiefs broke the side window (next to main sliding door)and managed to breakdown the grill as well.
Sadly the alarm was triggered but no one came out or saw anything, by the time the owner knew her house was broken into via hanphone(signal sent by alarm system) was a little too late.
So residents, the pattern of break - ins are more towards the afternoons,If any residents working nearby or passing through for appointments please drive in to see if there are any suspicious characters lurking around the Taman (DO NOT APPROACH OR BE A HERO!) immediately call the USJ 8 Balai Polis for their help.

Residents Meeting at TP 1/8
Hi All,
As we look forward to the 4 July gathering, we have also started giving out survey forms for the intrest of a gated & guarded community.
Today we will have some committee members for TP1/1-1/3 joining hands to come over to TP1/4 to TP1/8 to boost the mindset of residents on this side of the Taman.
The residents gathering is basically to inform the TP residents that a Residents Association (RA) has been set up to look after the peace & security of our beloved Taman Perindustrian UEP. Also to gauge the response to a Gated Community.
Councilor Mr.Keshminder would be joining us on Sunday (he will be slightly late as he has another function to attend).
See you guys tomorrow!

Pro-Temp Committee
Dear residents,
Warmest Greetings!
As you all know by now that we had a residents meeting on the 20 June 2010 at TP 1/3 playground.The meeting was initiated by Mr.Thira of TP 1/5 on the planning of setting up a 'Gated & Guarded' due to the fact that house break-ins is getting more rampant in our Taman.
Before all the subject of security arise, we had a election for a President, Vice President, Sectretary and soon a Treasurer.(Below is the list of committee memebers)
With this committee/assocation will benefit all the residents of TP, cause now we will have representatives or a focal point to bring matters for discussion or to the authorities concern.
We( residents committee / association)have setup this blog site to keep in touch with all the residents.enviroment friendly way!no more paper in letter boxes!

MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE RESIDENTS OF TAMAN PERINDUSTRIAN SIME UEP, SUBANG JAYA
The residents of Taman Perindustrian Sime UEP, Subang Jaya had concluded our first meeting on 20/06/2010 which started at 10.15am and ended at 11.15am. President : Mr PeterVice President : Mr KennethVolunteers : En Kadir (TP1/3) Mr Bill (TP1/1) Mr Saha (TP1/4) Mr Datta (TP1/5) Mr Foo (TP1/6) Mr Peter (TP1/7)Temporary Secretary : Mr V.Surendran (TP1/3)
The matters discussed were as follows: 1. Get quotations for (i) gated and (ii) fencing from TP1 -TP3 & TP4 - TP8. 2. To set date for discussion on Quotation received 3. To confirm invitation date for our Adun to attend our meeting. 4. Participation forms – to be printed and circulated by Protem Committee. 5. Estimated cost for guards for 24hrs patrolling – RM12, 000.Estimated total residents – 200 = RM60 to RM70 per month.
Hopefully the residents that didn't turn up on last Sunday are contractors or owners of a security firm? which can help by contributing to the plan.
The next meeting would be on 04/07/2010, at the same Padang, at 10am with an invitation to be sent to YB Hannah Yeoh, Insp.Puan Chia Bee Chuan of USJ 8 Police station and a councillor from MPSJ for their advise and implementation.(Hopefully she and everyone is available on the proposed date)
The agenda for the next meeting would be follow up from the minutes and discussion of the quotes submitted by the security company.
Meanwhile to all who attended the meeting please spread the news that we have a facebook account for Taman Perindustrian UEP Residents, from here we can start posting our ideas and comments. As for those who does not have access to the net (senior citizens) please upload their particulars for them.
